The City of Philadelphia is officially observing Indigenous Peoples' Day today, which has resulted in the closure of city offices. This day is designated to honor the culture and lives of Native American people. City offices are set to reopen on Tuesday, October 15. As a consequence of the holiday, trash and recycling collections will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.
