Abi Walker '25, a kinesiology major at Southwestern University, spent her internship at Grand Living turning fitness into fun for seniors. She organized activities like water aerobics, boxing, point shooting, and shuffleboard. Abi discovered her passion for working with seniors and promoting the idea that 'movement is medicine.' At Grand Living, there are strict pool rules which include no glass or animals in the pool area, no food or beverages in the pool, showering before entering the pool, not swallowing pool water, and no diving allowed -feet first only.
