The Georgetown Texas Fire Department shared a reminder on Facebook about the Community Collection Event happening on September 14th. The event will take place at the Georgetown Municipal Complex from 9am to 1pm. Items that will be accepted include furniture in good condition, up to 4 tires, mattresses and box springs, paper for shredding, electronics such as tablets and phones, lawn equipment, scrap metal, household appliances (excluding refrigerators), and unwanted/used crayons. Hazardous and medical waste will not be accepted at the event. Visit the provided link for the complete list of accepted items.
