Georgetown, Texas - The Georgetown Fire Department has expressed pride in Firefighter Swenson for his strong performance at the Firefighter Combat Challenge. Swenson showcased his skills in a competitive event that features elite firefighter athletes racing against each other in scenarios that simulate the physical demands of firefighting.

Participants in the challenge wear full bunker gear and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) as they navigate a complex course, racing against both the clock and fellow competitors.
