Former Governors Encourage Dialogue at Georgetown Event

Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. hosted an event on September 23 featuring former Tennessee Governors Phil Bredesen and Bill Haslam. The event focused on promoting dialogue across differences.

Bredesen and Haslam, who represent opposite political parties, are the co-hosts of the "You Might Be Right" podcast. This program, produced by the Baker School of Public Policy and Public Affairs at the University of Tennessee, addresses contemporary issues with guests from various ideological backgrounds.

The gathering marked the inaugural event of the Georgetown Dialogues Initiative (GDI), which aims to foster civil discourse and encourage respectful dialogue among individuals with differing viewpoints.
