Georgetown's Jim Wickman Enriches Campus Catholic Life
Staff Report / DClocal.org
Jim Wickman serves as the director of Catholic Life and campus liturgist at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. In his role, he oversees all aspects of Catholic ministry on campus, including leading worship services and providing spiritual direction to students. Wickman also participates in the Magis Immersion Seminars and teaches a course each semester in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies.
Wickman emphasizes the importance of self-reflection in his work, often asking himself how he can improve in helping students deepen their faith. He finds that engaging in conversations with others strengthens his own relationship with Christ. His journey of faith has evolved during his time at Georgetown, and he has named his cat after an influential theologian to honor that growth. For more details, visit: https://bit.ly/4dBk3xz.
